These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Secure.me mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

## 1. Who We Are

Secure.me ("Secure.me", "we", "us", or "our") provides tools to help users protect private files and credentials.

## 2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

## 3. Your Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

You must not:

- Use the Service to store, share, or distribute unlawful content.

- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service except where allowed by law.

- Interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or integrity of the Service.

- Use the Service in a way that violates another person's rights.

## 4. Accounts, Security, and Device Access

You are responsible for:

- Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your device and any passcode or credentials used with Secure.me.

- Any activity that occurs through your device or account.

- Keeping your recovery and support contact details up to date where applicable.

## 5. Subscriptions and Payments

Secure.me offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase. Current plan lengths include monthly, quarterly, and yearly options. Plan names, exact pricing, and availability may vary by country, currency, and promotional offer shown in the app at the time of purchase.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree that:

- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

- The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account Settings after purchase.

- Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.

- Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple's refund policies.

- If offered, free trial eligibility and duration are determined by Apple and/or promotional terms shown in the app.

You may restore previously purchased subscriptions using the "Restore Purchases" option in the app.

## 6. Privacy

Please read it carefully to understand how we collect, use, and protect information.

## 7. User Content and Data Responsibility

You retain ownership of content you import, store, or manage through Secure.me ("User Content"). You grant us only the limited rights required to provide the Service.

You are solely responsible for:

- The legality and accuracy of User Content.

- Maintaining your own backups where needed.

- Any loss that results from device loss, deletion, corruption, or unauthorized access outside our reasonable control.

## 8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, and related materials, is owned by Secure.me or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

## 9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may include links or integrations with third-party services (including Apple services). We are not responsible for third-party content, terms, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and policies.

## 10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if:

- You violate these Terms.

- Required by law.

- Needed to protect the Service, users, or our rights.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

## 11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that:

- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

- The Service will meet every specific need or expectation.

- Data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access can never occur.

## 12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Secure.me and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

## 13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Secure.me and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

- Your use or misuse of the Service.

- Your violation of these Terms.

- Your violation of any law or third-party rights.

## 14. Apple App Store Additional Terms

If you downloaded the Service from Apple's App Store, you acknowledge and agree that:

- These Terms are between you and Secure.me, not Apple.

- Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.

- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service.

- To the extent allowed by law, Apple has no warranty obligation regarding the Service.

- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

## 15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [INSERT GOVERNING STATE/COUNTRY], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

You and Secure.me agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [INSERT JURISDICTION], unless applicable law requires otherwise.
