Secure.me (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a privacy-focused app to help users store and protect personal files, credentials, and related content. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

a) Information you store in the app
- Files, photos, videos, folders, credentials, and security settings (such as passcode/PIN preferences) that you add to Secure.me.
b) Device and app data
- Basic technical information needed for app functionality, security, and troubleshooting (for example, app version, device model, OS version, and crash/diagnostic data, if enabled).
c) Permissions-based data
- Data accessed only after you grant device permissions (for example, Photos, Camera, or Files access), and only for requested features.
d) Support communications
- Information you provide when contacting support (such as email address and message content).
2) How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and maintain core app features.
- Protect your content and improve app security.
- Troubleshoot crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance.
- Respond to support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3) Data Storage and Processing
Secure.me is designed to keep your private content under your control. Content you add is primarily stored on your device and managed by app security controls.
If you choose to use platform backup/sync features (such as Apple services), your data may also be processed under those providers’ terms and privacy policies.
4) Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information only when necessary:
- Service providers that help us operate or support the app (for example, hosting/support tools), under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal/compliance requests, when required by law or to protect rights, users, or security.
- Business transfers (for example, merger/acquisition), where privacy commitments continue to apply.
5) Data Retention
- In-app content remains until you delete it, uninstall the app, or clear app data.
- Support or operational records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, legal, and operational purposes.
6) Your Choices and Controls
You can:
- Manage permissions in iOS Settings.
- Delete content within the app.
- Remove app data by uninstalling the app (subject to any external backups you enabled).
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold outside on-device content (for example, support records).
7) California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have rights to:
- Know what personal information we collect and use.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale/sharing of personal information.
- Limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information.
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

8) Children’s Privacy
Secure.me is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10) International Users
If you use Secure.me outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or by other appropriate means.
